Bio

As an energy engineer, my primary responsibility is to evaluate the energy efficiency of a building design via energy modeling in eQUEST. With almost two years of energy modeling experience, some of the more complex mechanical system designs I have modeled include advanced chiller and boiler plant, package air handling unit with heat recovery, ground source heat pump, VRF/VRV system, ice storage, and district energy modeling (LEED DES Guideline v2); in addition to the standard mechanical systems utilized in the industry. Additionally, I am the primary analyst on daylight modeling, utilizing the AGi32 lighting analysis tool. Other tasks include identifying energy efficiency opportunities for the building design via parametric changes, determining on-site renewable energy production potentials, and all related LEED credit documentation. I’ve provided energy analysis for multiple projects with LEED Silver and Gold certifications.
